Our team: meet Brian and Chris
Brian Lloyd Duckett
As a professional street and documentary photographer and a former Fujifilm Ambassador, Brian is at the heart of the street photography world. He has written four best-selling street photography training books (with two more about to be published) and he is the founder of the StreetSnappers organisation; he also teaches street and documentary photography to university students and lectures extensively at camera clubs. Brian runs over 70 street and documentary photography workshops every year. He is a board member of the BPPA (British Press Photographers’ Association).
He is also an established editorial and commercial photographer, shooting for clients such as Visa, the Financial Times, Department for Health, Stefano Ricci, House & Garden magazine, The Shard, Lloyds of London, Entain plc, Conde Nast, the NHS and KPMG.
Brian runs the street and documentary elements of our workshops.

Chris Upton
Chris Upton is a professional photographer specialising in Travel, Landscape and Social Documentary photography. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and is a former Ambassador for Fujifilm.
Chris has received awards in national and international photographic competitions and has twice been commissioned to photograph by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. His images are represented by several international stock agencies and his images have sold to clients around the world.
He has exhibited many times both in a solo capacity and also as part of the Masters of Vision collective. In 2016 Chris presented a major social documentary project recording the final year of Thoresby Colliery to widespread critical acclaim.
Chris’s ability to connect and communicate, sharing his knowledge, means that he is in great demand as a speaker and as a tutor on his workshops and tours in the UK and abroad.
